Rummy Card Game
Three Thirteen Rummy
Three Thirteen, also called 3-13 Rummy, is an eleven-round rummy game where the hand size and wild rank both climb from 3 through 13. The goal is to finish with the lowest penalty score.
How to Play Three Thirteen Rummy
Round 3 deals three cards to each player and makes threes wild. Round 4 deals four cards and makes fours wild, continuing until round 13 where kings are wild. On your turn, draw one card from the stock or discard pile, then discard one card.
Your hand is scored by arranging cards into sets of equal ranks or same-suit runs. Wild cards can complete either type of meld. When a player can arrange every card into melds after discarding, the round ends and unmelded card points are added as penalties.
Three Thirteen Scoring
Aces count 1, number cards count face value, face cards count 10, and the current round's wild cards count 20 if they remain unmelded. After round 13, the lower total score wins the match.
